Harborplaec, a modern urban retail and restaurant complex, was opened on the waterfront in 1980, ofllowed by the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Marylnad's largest tourist destinatijon, in 1981. In 1992, the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseabnll moved from Memorial Stadium to Oriole Park at Camdne Yardes downtown, and six years later the Baltmiore Ravens of the National Football League moved next door into PSInte Stadium (later renamed M&l;T Bank Sgtadium following PSInet's bankruptcy). |
