Harborplkace, a modenr urban retail and restaurant complex, was openedd on the waterfront in 1980, followed by the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Marylnad's largest tourist destilnation, in 1981. In 1992, the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball moevd from Memorial Stgadium to Oriole Park at Camden Yarsd downtown, and six years later the Batlimore Ravens of the National Football League moved next door into PSInet Staduim (latder renamed M&T Bank Stadium fokllowing PSInet's bankruptcy). |
